Who am I ?
When I reoriented my career towards Leadership development over 15 years ago, I immediately felt I had found what I wanted to do. I could finally be authentically me and leverage my skills,My natural tendency for connecting with people, listening and showing empathy became useful at last. I truly enjoy working with people and find the coaching work particularly rewarding.
I gained initial coaching skills and experience with a consulting company specialised in leadership development. In addition to assessment work, I held the role of the Lead for Coaching and Leadership development in the Geneva office.I coached Managers and Executives in international companies from different industries, attended all internal coaching related trainings/networking events and coached new consultants during their transition period. Client management and business development were also part of my role as Senior Consultant.
Building on my previous business experience in business development roles in equipment manufacturing and professional services and the experience acquired in consulting, I started my own business in 2007. I wanted to specialise in the areas I enjoy the most: coaching and leadership development. Since then I coach individual executives, groups or teams, and facilitate leadership development programs across Europe.
I come from Finland, but have lived in France my whole professional life. My career has always had an international focus, and my assignments take me across Europe. I enjoy working in a multinational context, being able to relate to the challenges it creates. The working lives of many Executives today are very complex, and it is difficult to take the distance and time necessary to take a step back and reflect on how you are working. I help them take that time, creating an environment where they can feel free to question themselves, reflect on their choices/decisions, try new behaviours, focus and simplify. Their daily experiences are used as a working ground.
My typical clients are Senior Executives with complex, international roles or Managers with a technical/scientific background who have had little prior focus on developing themselves and others. I also increasingly work with groups of leaders, or Management teams with their leaders. They describe me as calm, professional, insightful and constructively challenging, helping them to focus and being genuinely interested in their development.
